Since 1991 Holm & Laue has been developing state-of-the-art feeding technology for performance-aware calf husbandry. Today, these solid and weather-proof systems form the basis of labour-saving and healthy calf rearing around the world. Many characteristics that are considered standard in today's feeding technology originate in developments from Holm & Laue. In the course of all these years, the automatic calf feeders were enhanced and extended with calf feeding and calf husbandry innovations.

|1994||Holm & Laue goes for weight-responsive ration quantities in automatic calf feeding. This means that the dispensed amount is determined in relation to the weight gain of the calves.|
|1996||The Joker Automatic Feeder is introduced with two mixing units, to feed two calves individually yet simultaneously.|
|1998||The mixing system nicknamed "TOM" is awarded the DLG Silver Medal at the 1998 Eurotier show. The spacious group Igloo from Holm & Laue approx. 15m² (161½sq.ft) is one of the most important innovations in recent years and, in the meantime, has become the cornerstone of healthy outdoor calf husbandry around the world.|
|2000||The new H&L 100 Automatic Feeder replaces the H&L Joker. To the tried and tested operation principles, further options are added. With a design that pleases the eye, the H&L 100 looks the feeder of the future that it is and that does not leave anything to be desired. The transition to the H&L 100 is also a new impulse for our export business. Farmers in many countries around the world can turn the advantages of our leading-edge feeding technology to their benefit.|
|2002||Holm & Laue extends the H&L Igloo and turns it into a full outdoor calf housing system. The H&L Igloo System is the optimum mediator between calf health and work efficiency.|
|2004||On the occasion of the Eurotier 2004 show, Holm & Laue is awarded the Innovation Prize of DLZ Publishers for the H&L Igloo Veranda, distinguished as an innovation particularly well matched to the daily routines of the industry.|
|2005||The H&L Milk Taxi completes the product offering for of state-of-the-art calf feeding with a solution for individual hutches and nursing buckets.|
|2006||The next development in line is a process-controlled pasteuriser for milk intended for the calves' diet, which is available as an additional option for the Milk Taxi.|
|2007||The company moves to a new manufacturing facility at Westerrönfeld.|
|2008||A small-group housing design, the Kalo-Veranda DUO (today, the MultiMax Veranda) is another extension of the portfolio.|
|2009||Our offerings welcome more newcomers, Calf-Tel's individual hutches and the Pen System. Plus, the Calf Garden introduces itself as a fully fledged design for roofing individual hutches, in line with the requirements of practical application.|
The company brings the coloQuick colostrum management system to market. Just arrived, coloQuick wins several valuable international awards:
The Calf-Tel individual hutches are upgraded with the practical FlexyFence exercise area.
The Milk Taxi is redeveloped into a tool for optimum supply of added milk to new-born piglets' diet. This novel development, is awarded the DLZ Innovations Prize 2011, in the Pig Feeding category.
|2012||Manufacture and storage facilities of the plant are expanded again.|
The fact that all these product innovations continue to show growing numbers of units sold and that they open up new markets for us by the day, shows how closely they are in line with what the people on the job need.
